The House is cute, and the room is cute but as I said smell of mold was awful.
First thing that hit us was the smell of mold in the room. Dehumidifier was running. It was room #1. I don't know why owners think that this is okay. If it wasn't late I would ask for different room. For $180 I wish I went somewhere else to sleep. However there is no staff in the facility. I will not stay again.

No reception check-in or check-out. Steep, short tread stairs to room. If I had noticed before booking I would have requested first floor.

    Great location
The location was superb for walking with interesting landmarks and a lot of eateries nearby. It was surprisingly quiet despite being right off the street. The hostess greeted us personally and explained the set-up very well. The facility itself was charming.
Although they had a lot of snacks around, we wished that breakfast would have been available. The pebbly floor in the shower was probably health trendy at some point but did not support me with chronic heel pain.

    Charming Boutique Hotel
I was delighted to see how nicely this boutique hotel was decorated. It felt welcoming. Getting inside the hotel was simple once I received the instructions by text. The location itself was great and easily walkable to restaurants and bars. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable.
The only thing I wasn't too excited about was the loud knocking noises at 3 or 4 in the morning. I'm somewhat of an easily spooked person, so I hid under the covers for a few hours. But rest assured, I'm sure they were friendly spirits....lol. Other than that, I would totally recommend this place.

    Superb
Well apportionned inn with a great location.
The location is close to the "Strawberry Banke" Museum and Market Square. The inn is well decorated and included two luggage stands. Even though we had an entry key code, there was a person to greet us and show us around. Complemtary nacks are are provided.
    Nothing.

    Poor
Expensive without charm. A 100-year house in itself does not make a good hotel.
I didn't like this place. It is expensive and shockingly primitive.
The facility calls itself a boutique hotel. That is a gross misrepresentation. The place is located in a less desirable part of town. Perhaps we got the servants' quarters - a tiny room with no closets. Our door was so close to the entrance that it blocked access. The front step is dirty and unkempt. The was also mold, and they were running an air purifier that unfortunately did not help much because I have a high sensitivity to mold.
