Room very clean and very modern. The shower was very powerful and hot. The breakfast was amazing. Local meat from a local butchers. Staff really friendly . Didnt eat here but the food looked amazing and very reasonably priced.

We received a very warm welcome from Hannah. All the staff seemed very happy in their role and were a pleasure to deal with. Rooms were very clean. We had everything we needed. Liked the large toiletry dispensers great quality and much better than the small ones. Breakfast was very good, there was a nice choice and a cheery lady to serve you too.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Go stay! Seriously

All the staff were amazing! We had booked to go L'Enclume for dinner and was told that if we hadn't booked a taxi there could be a problem. All the staff tried every person they knew to get us there and back. Even offering to drive themselves. They did manage to get us there so we were lucky. Thank you staff. Lunch at the inn was delicious as was the wine and champagne, a little too much. The room far surpassed our expectation. The view was great the beds a treat to sleep on. The bathroom shower was 6 foot long! Both lunch and dinner times were well attended which says something about the quality of the food. Do not think I've been to a friendlier inn. The staff even knew the daughter of where we were dining on the Sunday. My son and I will return at some point

Great facilities and very helpful staff

We travelled to attend a wedding in Cartmel, the location was great, just a few minutes drive away. The staff and facilities were great, although I did change our booking a few times, they were very accommodating. Thank you for a great stay.

Fantastic place

We loved our stay. The staff go above and beyond. They are all so friendly and welcoming. The chefs are worth their weight in gold. The food was some of the best weve ever eaten. Breakfast 10/10. Big, clean room and comfy bed. Lovely views. Brilliant location. We will definitely be back
