Some rooms lack windows, so choose carefully. The hotel has a fabulous restaurant and coffee area. Overall, a phenomenal hotel with character and great walkability to nearby attractions.

A fun 48 hours in NOLA.

Good location, friendly staff, excellent restaurant on site, comfortable beds.

Looking a bit worn in some places ( hallways, carpets, elevator malfunctioning).

Great location! Affordable.

Great location, walkable to everything in the French Quarter.

No microwave, mini fridge was broken and i kept asking to have it fixed but it was over two days before it was fixed and i had to throw food away because of it.

I booked a deluxe double room listed on booking. I got a room way smaller, with just one small window looking on the firewall. From the booking.com site, looking at the pictures it seemed that it was rather an interior queen room or the double room. The hotel did not take responsibility for what is sold on booking.com (?!?!) because it is a third party (I believe they agreed to work with that third party), the manager had a day off so I was supposed to wait until the next day. They said the hotel is full and they are unable to change my room. Eventually after 2.5 hours, which I didn't mean to spend on this on my holiday, I did get the room I booked. There was no apology or a glass of wine on the house.

The property was very clean.

We had to wait over an hour past check in for our room to be ready. Once in our room the AC did not properly work, the ceiling fan did not work, and they were doing construction to the outside of the building right outside our window every morning. And when we checked out we had paid for parking, someone made a mistake and didnt put the correct days on our parking so we had to wait an hr and a half to get a boot taken off our vehicle so we could leave.
