Very good

Excellent stay, I hope to return soon for a third booking.

The remodel and rebranding of this hotel was genius. Being on campus, sandwiched between Holiday Inn and Best Western and a couple of mom and pop motels. The Maverick excels at providing an upscale stay at an affordable price point. This is my second stay and everything is just perfect.

The staff could have been friendlier upon arrival, I was traveling in for work the next day and the individual checking me in was cold to me (attitude wise).

It was about what we expected. No complaints.

The room was clean and it was a good location for our dogs. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was a remodel so it was clean for an older building. I would suggest adding some towels bars or hooks in the bathroom and a better or additional lamp to warm it up a little.

I enjoyed it very much, only thing I would change is which room I was in.

I liked The Maverick hotel because theyre pet friendly, the bathroom was VERY spacious, they gave e extra towels, and their shampoo, conditioner and lotion smelt great.

I didnt like the location of The Maverick hotel because across the street was a truck that looked very sketchy, and because the U of O is in the area, so there were lots of people/traffic.

Great place, would stay again!

We enjoyed the location as it was directly across from the college and gave us something to do and walk around close to our place. The hotel itself was clean, with laminate floors (so much better than carpet that holds all the nasties), beds were comfortable, and overall great experience for the short weekend we were there.

The only thing I would recommend is that the curtains don't close up together so our window had a very bright outside light to it and it kept our room bright all night. I went out and bought a clip the next night just so I could make sure the curtains closed up together and we didn't stay awake like the night before and be up as early as the sun was rising. It is an easy fix but even having a clip or something to close them for guests would be a nice touch.
