Needs some attention, 3 star at best.

Location was good and staff friendly

The room was needing some updating. Curtains hanging off the rails, loose wires from a socket, bathroom very dark, bed / pillows uncomfortable and generally not particularly clean.

It was average.

It looks beautiful outside.

The apartment wasnt cleaned well, the couch was way too small and the air conditioning didnt work. The staff was okay but mostly unfriendly and told us the breakfast was R200 when it was included in our booking.

I liked the friendliness of the staff.

I didn't like the feel of the room. It was not super clean, poorly maintained bathroom with the basin structure rickety. The pillows were old and uncomfortable. There wasn't a sense of effort put into the general neatness of the room. The breakfast on offer was just so limited and not enticing at all. On the overall, there was no value for money. Very substandard for the rate that they charge.

We would highly recommend this boutique hotel, we were made to feel at home straight away.

There was a great deal of choice from fresh fruit and juices, cereals, yogurts, porridge, pastries, breads, cakes, pancakes, waffles, cheeses, jams, you name it right up to a fully cooked English type breakfast made freshly to your requirements, omelettes etc. coffees assortment of teas. All served by incredibly friendly staff.

Excellent!

Even though some of the colleagues were late for check-in, the Lakes did not hesitate to help when we needed them. The breakfast was very good the next morning, and the rooms were very big and neat and well looked after.

We loved everything! There was nothing we did not like.
