Friendly and Good Value

Fabulous location to Christchurch and the beautiful Priory grounds just opposite the hotel. The room was super, large, comfy bed and great bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and a fast service, we found the staff to be very friendly in the bar and restaurant.

Our greeting on arrival was a little abrupt but after that everything was lovely.

The hotel was lovely and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect you could walk to everything. The good was ama Inc especially the Sunday roast. Staff were all very helpful.

Spacious room, a bath, very tasty food in their restaurant, location is excellent, such a nice and helpful staff.

For rooms from the courtyard especially 1st floor be aware on bookings on Fridays and Saturdays, you will hear the music from the bar almost as much as if you were at the bar it's that loud. Although they switch it off around 11.40pm on those days and then you can get some sleep. Ps: we must say tunes were pretty good so we Shazamed some.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, we booked first dinner and food was very good. Breakfast again was very good, loads of choice . Rooms were not massive but very nice

Our bathroom had a bath/ shower. , but I have never seen such a high bath , slightly difficult to get in and out .

Disappointing

Great location, staff and food but complete lack of soundproofing in our room.

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good. The room was well equipped (tea / coffee making facilities, fridge stocked with water and fresh milk, safe for valuables etc). The room was also very clean . Very good bar downstairs and an excellent restaurant (evening meal was great).

Our room had an internal door, connecting it to the room next to ours. The guests in the adjacent room were from a larger party who occupied several rooms. They appear to have gathered for a chat very late in the evening in the room next to ours, and were still there in the early hours. Normally this would not be a problem (they were not excessively noisy). However, the dividing door offered no soundproofing whatsoever and we could clearly hear every word, meaning we did not get any sleep until nearly 3 in the morning. This very much spoilt what would otherwise have been a very pleasant stay.
