Superb

We booked two rooms, the standard is small but well designed and well appointed. Very comfortable. We also booked a suite which was very spacious with lovely decor and thoughtful touches.

It was lovely! Can recommend the restaurant for dinner, great food and friendly service

The room was smallish but cosy and warm, and also allowed for a window open at night (important to have some cool fresh air for sleeping!) The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect! We appreciated the lovely toiletries- very nice and generous range of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, toothbrushes and paste, shower caps - in fact everything we needed, without having to open annoying sachets and packets! We also appreciated having a small fridge to keep some snacks and medicine in (we didnt need the minibar but there was a good selection provided).

Only one small suggestion would be that we could have done with a suitcase stand. l dont like to put suitcases on the bed and the chairs were comfy sitting chairs so also not appropriate or practical for putting a case on.

Lovely hotel with outstanding staff

Location was great with the added bonus of a car park. The staff were incredible, so friendly and they made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Special thanks to Liam who looked after us so well. We had a lovely room very clean and furnished well. The hotel has a very relaxed feel an ideal place to enjoy a drink and good food.

Very good

A good, friendly country inn and fair value for money

The room was large and spotlessly clean. Food and drink ( dinner and breakfast) were honest and fair value though not memorable. Staff were pleasant and polite. General vibe was friendly and pleasantly solid old-fashioned country inn. Plentiful parking is a definite plus.

Room furnishings were ok but a bit basic. Bathroom had a good-sized walk-in shower but no bath -- a pity if you like a good wallow.
