Enjoyable stay in an historic hotel.
The location was amazing and the place was so charming. Definitely a bit of history. Loved the fact that it had a restaurant and bar on-site and was very walkable to the "touristy" areas. Lot's of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as the water. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great gathering spaces, too.
Parking was across the street in a gravel lot, which I completely understand given the location and history of the hotel. But, that made loading and unloading a little difficult -- you had to pull your car up to the property's loading / unloading zone, then park across the street. Just a little bit of maneuvering involved, but certainly doable.

Great location to the beach, restaurants and shopping and FREE parking!
1. Location was perfect. 2. Free parking. 3. During our stay in December, during the holidays, the breakfast in the dining room on the weekend was great; however, on Monday morning, there was limited amounts and selections of breakfast items available. 4. Staff was very helpful.
1. The Noise! Our room was on the 2nd floor above the lobby and it was very noisy in the evening (past 11:00 pm), preventing us from sleeping. The staff said they asked people to be more quiet, but they didn't listen. I would stay at the Inn again only if I could request a room away from the front staircase. 2. Suggestions: a. Put up signs throughout the lobby designating 'quiet time' for guests during a specific time, for example, 11:00 pm-8:00 am. b. Have a hot water dispenser available for guest who want to brew their own cup of tea or other hot beverage. It was not convenient asking staff to leave the front desk to get hot water from the kitchen.

Great place-great location. Great history to establishment.
Break fast was good-but pricey-before Inn money was applied breakfast cost was in the low $50.00 range-which for breakfast is expensive.
Table and chairs in room. One wicker chair to sit in. One person can sit. Also need a shelf or something in bathroom. No where to put anything. Toiletries lined up around sink rim.

I would stay there again!
very friendly staff, great location, lovely common spaces (bar, living room area) with fireplace, comfortable porch
My room was a bit small but still could have used a small table; but otherwise lovely with a nice view. The generator outside my room (north side of hotel) was a bit noisy.

We stayed one night as was our plan but would probably not want to stay there longer in spite of many positive aspects o
Its a lovely old Victorian building. The common spaces were very pleasant and relaxing and all the staff was friendly.
The room we had was quite small and the bed had a problem on one side. It slanted downward. We could not sit on it to put on socks and shoes and there was no chair or other place to sit.
