Comfortable overnight stay, excellent value for money.
Ten minutes walk from Oran Mor where I was going to a concert with my son. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
I complained that the only chair in my room was wobbly, and felt like it might collapse. The guy on reception took note but didnt replace it, so I just had to sit on the bed which was fine. I mentioned it again at checkout next morning, and the lady receptionist apologised and said she would see to it before next customer arrived.

Pleasant
Good value close to West End.
Convenient for Glasgow's West End. Helpful staff.
I had a basement room which smelt rather damp - it was also under the steps up to the entrance so was disturbed by other guests going in and out until late so I would avoid this room in future. Bed was not secure and moved around every time I sat on it, rug was slippery - seemed a bit of a hazard.

Poor
Not worth the money
Very loud water system and clanging noises through the night. Paper thin walls and windows, heard every vehicle and pedestrian on the busy road all night.

Bad
Don't stay here
Not a lot
We arrived to be told there was no hot water and we could have half the money back we had paid or find alternative accommodation. Not knowing Glasgow we felt we had little choice but to stay. The hotel can not book your car in as stated and you have to walk out, get an app and pay from your phone at a cost more than the hotel states. There is no lift so we carried our bags to the second floor. The room was very basic with a box built in it as a bathroom. The toilet was on a electric macerator so was very, very noisy. We could not use the shower so cannot comment but it was small and compact. The heating when full on was only just warm and not sufficient for the room. The tv needed a telescope to see it as it was very small. Luckily we were out most of the time but later that night there was a huge argument that went on and on and on with no intervention from the night porter even though we rang him. It was so bad we thought of leaving. The following morning there was still no hot water. Although we were promised half our money back it took a month, phone calls and e mails. Booking.com and the hotel were blaming each other for the delay. Would we stay there again.. never. The worst hotel experience we have every had.
