    The Ambassador is a hotel with positive customer service. The rooms are clean and larger than expected, with fresh linens. The location is ideal, within walking distance of grocery stores, the train (Read More)station, and Old Town. The hotel is dated but very clean and professional, with a great location right on the water. It is close to the train station and nearby restaurants and shopping. The hotel is convenient for getting around on foot and has air conditioning. The breakfast is adequate and the neighborhood is quiet.

    Brilliant location, beautiful room - very clean spacious and comfortable. Great for a city break.
    The only thing I could mention as a negative was the fact they dont advertise that you have to pay for the parking despite suggesting it as an amenity. We booked this place as it was cheaper than having external parking but that didnt end up being the case. P

    The location was brilliant. The staff were so helpful and attentive. The breakfast was good, I had read reviews saying it was poor and sparse. There wasn't a vast amount there but that didn't mean no choice as it was constantly replenished. There was everything you would get in any hotel.
    The bathroom was small but perfectly functional. A kettle for tea would have been nice. There was a coffee machine.

    Excellent location.
    The Wifi did not work consistently while I was at the hotel. For one whole day it didn't work at all. And for the other day, only sporadically. I was traveling for business. This is unacceptable. The staff just shrugged and said, "this is the Swiss telephone carrier's problem, not the hotel. The problem is everywhere". I went across the street, and the Starbucks had great Wifi. A hotel MUST have good wifi - in this day and age. I had to either leave and go elsewhere to work (such as Starbucks), but I cannot have a private phone call there. OR....sometimes I used my mobile hotspot to get Wifi. These are not good solutions for a hotel experience. And the staff I felt had been trained to give the "its not our fault" answer, which never feels good as the customer.

    NOT ENOUGH PARKING SPACES, NOT MENSIONED ON THEIR PAGE
    Nothing at all
    If you are traveling with a car, this hotel is not a good choice. Limited parking spaces which is not stated in their page, which feels like a scam to be honest. If you have a bike or motorcycle, you might consider but check with their rude personnel first.
