Superb

Lovely cottage. Swathes of space! Large bathroom, with full length bath. Kitchen, dining area and front room, more than spacious for 4 adults. Quiet location, and only moments away from all the greatness of Whitby Harbour and the town centre(s) pubs, restaurants and shops. Fully kept up to date by the host.

The location of the cottage is perfect. Only a 10 minute or so walk into the heart of Whitby.

The cottage was dated and is need of some TLC! There was a distinct lack of basic cooking utensils. There were no dishes to allow any kind of oven cooking. The only baking tray there was, was way too big for the oven!! The double bed was in fact two singles pushed together and held in place by a fitted sheet. Whilst the cottage was warm it became quite uncomfortable and we had to open windows and doors to cool the place down. Such a waste of energy as no matter what we did to turn the heating down it just didn't alter the output of heat!

Excellent location for exploring Whitby.

No breakfast, it was self catering

central heating was uncomfortably high. But assume it was to prevent damp if property was unoccupied.

Good area, very warm, had everything you need and spacious.

Could do with lock on bathroom door, decor could do with update but wouldn't put me off stopping again.

Very comfortable property

Very clean, everything you needed was there. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and pillows. Easy to find and very central for Whitby, close to everything. Excellent security light for finding the door and key at night, very helpful. We arrived a little early and were able to get in before our agreed time, which was lovely, the heating was on so it was toasty warm, very nice on a very windy wet day.

Bathroom could do with updating, but all very clean.

Easy walking distance to the main attractions in Whitby. Spacious living area, dining area, kitchen and main bedroom,

A little difficult to find using sat nav as we had to drive down some small lanes.

Exceptional

Fabulous Cottage. Very clean and comfy. All you need for staying a week or two is there. Located right in the center of town, it's just a short walk to the shops or the beech. Highly recommended!

Nothing. It's a great place to stay and explore the Whitby area.
