Shenandoah House offers lovely, spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds and sea views. Visitors praise the welcoming host, Jim, and the convenient location close to the beach and town centre. Th (Read More)e breakfast is sumptuous, and the rooms are well-furnished with plenty of tea and coffee. Despite some minor issues with water pressure in the shower, guests overall find their stay very pleasant and would highly recommend returning.

Very relaxing and a nice break between Xmas and new year
Was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Jim the proprietor was very welcoming and informative. Parking easy in the road outside plus on site. Handy base for exploring east Kent. Would 100% recommend and return if in the area

Great stay
What's not to like, host Jim was fab, room was lovely, bed was comfy, breakfast was great!
The ferocious wind rattled the windows on the first night and bathroom was a bit cramped due to the low apex ceiling but neither of these things are the fault of the owner so really no complaints!

I had a lovely stay at Shenandoah House. It's close to the train station, inside it was lovely and cosy, very clean, comfortable bed. There was a great breakfast selection in the morning. Neil, was really helpful, sharing tips about Margate. I would definitely recommend this place.
