The motel was ok. The location was good. The rooms could b updated with a larger tv.

Being close to the beach and to Cape May

I feel like Shalimar has gone down within the past 10 years.

5 stars!!! Will definitely be back!!

-Thanks Michael! This hotel was right by the beach overlooking the ocean , clean rooms, Treasonable priced stay, amazing staff, mini golf and a game room! Beautiful heated pool! TThis is definitely our new spot to stay! Accessible to beach, boards and good restaurants and stores! All around great stay! 5 stars Beds are comfy and the air conditioning rocks!

Dirty and outdated. Wont recommend!

Close to the beach

Dirty, outdated, used to be white towels and sheets with stains, sticky and dirty surroundings, wet sugar in the clean coffee mug, old and rusted microwave and refrigerator. During our stay there was an unexpected fire alarm testing scheduled. Every few minutes from 11.00 am till 4.00 pm all the fire alarms would go off. We couldnt stay in the motel or at the pool because of the extreme loud noise and left. When we reported it to the manager he told us that, unfortunately for us, the fire alarm had to be checked. We didnt get a refund. To my opinion you cant have quests when the alarms get tested!
