    The staff are friendly and accommodating
    This property does not have a current 5-Star rating. The property advertises itself both on booking.com and its own website as having a 5-Star rating on TGCSA (which is the official accreditation agency in South Africa) but it is NOT EVEN LISTED on TGCSAs website. The implication of this is that rating is outdated which makes sense given the outdated state of the property. The location of the property is also misleading. The property is located in Sandbaai which is part of the greater Hermanus municipality but is not considered Hermanus by locals. The township of Zwelihle lies between the propertys location and the actual town of Hermanus. We found the property so disappointing we decided to leave after a single night (we had booked three). I advise other people interested in booking a holiday in Hermanus to book a hotel near Voelklip, Hermanus Heights, or near the city center. This hotel was blight on an otherwise magical trip to the Western Cape.

    Rooms were comfy and exceptionally clean. Our seaview was amazing. The check in and check out were stellar. Breakfast was outstanding. Our host was super organized and even ran out with items we had left behind as we were leaving.

    Relaxing stay
    The entire stay was so comfortable that we truly rested well. The bed was very comfortable, the facilities allowed us to not need to travel much as there is the pool with deck chairs and full bar facilities. The room was amazing with stunning views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nomfundo is an excellent manager and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing. Best coffee I've had !!

    The location was good. Nice beach to walk on with a comfortable walking path.
    The fact that the kitchen closed so early. They don't allow eating in the room, which is difficult if the restaurant closes. The swimming pool is not clean for a 5 star establishment. The laundry facility is not up to standard. Laundry was returned in a bad state, clothing not folded neatly and was returned in the same bag I sent the dirty clothing. Really dissapointed with this service especially! I honestly don't think it's worth the price you pay!
