The Sand Bar Cottage Inn in Bar Harbor is highly recommended for its warm and welcoming staff, delicious breakfast options, and convenient location. Guests appreciate the beautiful rooms and grounds, (Read More) as well as the thoughtful touches such as nightly desserts and fire pits. The inn provides excellent service and goes above and beyond to accommodate guests' needs. The only minor complaint was the preference for cleaner flavors in the food. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay.

We felt so comfortable staying at the Inn. The breakfasts and happy hours were excellent!!!
The manager and employees were SO friendly and accommodating. Never ever let Chris and Mariah leave because they are awesome!!!!

We had such a good stay here!!! The staff was so friendly and we loved our breakfast every morning. We sat out by the fire one night with the manager and loved chatting with some of the other guests. We also enjoyed our afternoon tea time with sweet treats baked by some of the staff. Will definitely be staying here again!!

Amazing inn in downtown Bar Harbour with exceptional service and staff.
Amazing staff who went above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious each morning, plus extra snacks and afternoon tea and beverages each day. The Inn was well maintained and beautifully decorated and was nice to stay in a historical building. The fire pit of an evening was great and a nice way to chat to fellow visitors.
The shower was on the small size, but to be expected in an 1800s building! Everything else was superb.

The staff was extremely friendly, and lovely to chat with near the fireplace.
Our room was beautiful.
The property was immaculately decorated. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for a glass of local wine before dinner.
