Good

All good beside the service of restaurant staff. Firstday breakfast they forgot to give us fruites and the lady was a bit not friendly for the entire serving during our stay.

The foods was superb we try mostly the local foods the aroma and authentic flavours was very good . The location is perfect very nice and quite very good for relaxing and I enjoyed the kayaking

Large and comfortable rooms Great service from very friendly staff, great food Beautiful location Great for people who want to get away and spend a quiet time together

Would be really great to have some chairs/loungers by the beach for extra relaxation

Quiet, peaceful, well-run, with good food and comfortable rooms. Even the wifi worked OK, which I wasn't really expecting. In some ways the highlight of the 7 nights we stayed here was seeing horshoe crabs mating in the shallow sea.

It was a little strange not to be told about all the facilities when we arrived. I only knew about the free kayaks and paddleboards, and the availability of mopeds for hire, from reading the reviews here. And take the warnings about sandfly bites seriously! Again, I only knew about the seriousness of them from reading these reviews. The nights don't start itching till a couple of days after the bite so you don't realise how badly you've been bitten till it's too late.

It takes about 45-50 minutes from the ferry, and its worthy. Feels like the most peaceful place in the world. Would def

All. Tranquil and cozy stay with friendly staffs and lovely cats. Sea view is incomparable, and the foods are tasty! The decos of the room are classic. We really enjoy our stay.

A peaceful and charming place for a real get away from it all experience

A beautiful place for rest and relaxation. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great food at the on-site restaurant (more vegetarian options required). There is also a local riverside cafe and shop a 4 minute walk up the road. Feels v remote and away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nice size swimming pool and beautiful sunsets to be seen from the poolside. Peaceful jetty for after dinner drinks and star gazing. The rescue animals on site are v well behaved - they wont bother you if you dont want to interact with them. The complimentary kayaks and paddle boards are a nice touch - definitely worth spending some time on the calm stretch of sea and exploring the nearby floating fishermens houses. Roka is about a 45 minute drive from the ferry terminal and the hotel will arrange a transfer for you. Had a wonderful time.

Best resort ever.

We can honestly say this resort has to be the most relaxed place we have ever been . We were instantly made to feel at home , there was nothing that was any trouble for Iwan and his staff. What beautiful people. A very environment green resort. Designed excellently with local and collected pieces of furniture.The very spacious bungalows were immaculate providing toiletries and even insect repellent. Gorgeous views of beach and pool set in well kept gardens. The restaurant served healthy but substantial food that would match any Michelin starred menu. The grounds were subtly lit on an evening that gave it the romantic, relaxed atmosphere. I booked a massage, the best massage I have ever had. Free kayaks and paddle boards provided as well as beach towels and even a beach bag to use. The rescued dogs and cats took our hearts. All living so happily and well looked after. Chika (dog) and gypsy(cat) are a special 2 little friends we miss so much. On my birthday Iwan and his beautiful wife Sophie had dinner with us and the staff got me a special cake. Even the staff that were having a day off came to sing happy birthday. This is the sort of friendly thing that makes Roka so special. Broke our hearts to leave because this resort treat you as family not as guests. We will be definitely going back as soon as we can. Missing Sophie's baby monkeys, so cute and entertaining. This lady has the kindest heart.

We enjoyed the tranquility of this remote, idyllic location

Very relaxing, quiet atmosphere - about an hour from the ferry terminal. Sea is calm and shallow out to the nearby island, which we had fun kayaking around. Very friendly staff; nice pool; clean accommodation with comfortable bed. Surrounding is tastefully decorated with outdoor lanterns. Great food in the restaurant. There were very few guests during the week - more over the weekend.

It didn't really bother us but the resort is quite remote with no shops or other amenities close by.
