Superb

First up, the staff and manager were quite cordial and helpful. They helped me with language issues and information about the transportation options. Location is ideal as it is both peaceful and few steps away from shops, restaurants and view spots. The rooms were comfortable.

Though building and the rooms give us a nostalgic feeling the amenities and infrastructure calls for a breath of fresh air and some much needed augmentation to make it more competitive with modern day hotels.

Superb

Nice facility with very polite Manger and staff support.

The food price was quite high with 400 rupees for non veg meals dinner and 150 for bread butter and Jam breakfast.

Riverside View side only good to stay

As I entered I didn't like the room where I was booked but the manager was kind and gave me a river view at the same rate for that day. But rest apart for the next day it was charged very high as I think not worth it.

It's a big cottage where only 1 person ( caretaker ) is looking after. I was afraid that the other rooms were empty. Apart from the river view side ( 2 rooms ) the rest rooms are not that worth staying

A great night!

Large comfortable room with hot water and view of the river. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. He rang the bus company for us as were confused over the pick up point which was really helpful!

Pleasant

It was overall a pleasant stay. The host made us feel at home.

The location is the key takeaway of this place. On the banks of Brahmaputra, it gives you a good glimpse of the river. It is easily accessible from the city center.

The breakfast menu could have been better. The price was on the higher side.
