The Quarter House is a lovely place to stay with great amenities and a helpful staff. It is located within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. Some rooms may be noisy due to garbage (Read More) trucks in the alley, but overall, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The parking is slightly deceiving in terms of pricing. The hotel offers free food and drink events, has a small pool, and a beautiful courtyard. It is a family-friendly hotel with clean and updated condo units. The location is convenient and walkable to nearby attractions.

We were close to a trolley that would take us around the city and some great restaurants - enjoyed

We stayed on the first floor with a door that went out to the courtyard area. We liked being able to open the door during the day and evening to get fresh air or go out to the courtyard to enjoy a cocktail.

People used the courtyard as a place to gather in the evenings and altho the pool closed around 10:00, the people stayed in the courtyard until midnight or later. Several times, they were loud and kept us from sleeping well.

Superb

The place was incredibly spacious, so good for parties larger than 3. Conveniently located to basically everything.

While I knew the parking was off site, it would've been nice to have been told to unload before going to the deck, only to learn that it's valet, and you can't unload there.

Location is great. Plenty of great restaurants and a few bars on the same block.

Bedroom and the bathroom is a great size. The living room and kitchen are rather small but not a big deal.

Great location

Great location near all of the well known tourist spots. The balcony that we could sit out on and people watch made this place great. Several awesome, happy staff members added to the atmosphere. The room was huge with a separate bedroom, living area, along with a well equipped kitchen.

My biggest complaint was the linens. They were thin and uncomfortable. The bed itself is probably in need of replacement too. However, if these are the biggest issues, I would happily stay here again. Also, having the balcony meant we were able to hear the party all night (and early morning). It didn't bother me because it is pretty constant noise and the party is what we were there for.

Perfect locations, but many negatives.

The location was perfect. The size of the two bedroom apartment was good. The place had some character.

For one, we asked for a cot twice and wasn't until the second day that we received it. The bed mattresses were old and concaved, so we ended up in the middle every night. My wife stepped in a sticky mouse trap twice in the kitchen. The showers had no pressure. The sheets did not feel clean. The staff was unresponsive.
