Wonderful staff and hospitality along with a beautiful hotel with rich history and architecture makes it worth staying a

Gorgeous location. The property has maintained its history with upgraded rooms and amenities as needed. The courtyard is beautiful. Patrice and Andrews hospitality when we checked in was lovely. We thank them and the rest of the staff for making our stay very enjoyable.

Something to keep in mind: the walls are thin and therefore sound travels fast especially for any other guests coming and going. Our room was located nearby the stairwell to reach the 3rd floor. We knew this going in so our expectations were set.

Wonderful stay in the French Quarter

Loved the history and coziness of the property. The staff was incredible. Warm, helpful and treated us like family

I have problems with my vision. The room had no natural light and the lighting was very dim. I had a hard time seeing in the room. Had to use my phone flashlight. Courtyard was dirty.

Place DArmes was in a great location central to everything in the French Quarter , yet quiet and peaceful. The room we stayed in was an internal room with no windows. It was clean and spacious.

The public areas could do with better cleaning and the decor looked tired.

Absolutely beautiful, refreshing & comforting! You want to live in a place like this!

We were at the back of this courtyard which seemed private. French doors to greet you when you enter the room from outside, then a very tall ceiling as you entered. Nice tile floor throughout. Bathroom was clean & very nice. Outside especially around the pool area was absolutely stunning. A tree overshadowed part of the pool, but added such an ambiance whether day or night. Favorite place to be! The courtyards were unique with a mixture of brick, stone & wood along with the setup of how room were placed. Very friendly staff, which even let my wife use a wheelchair without a charge. Definitely will stay there again even if it means an extra day in New Orleans after the cruise!

Leaves could have been cleaned out of the pool more often. Too bad there's no more breakfast being served after covid.
