Superb

The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was great - big and modern, and loved the bath. Decent parking and easy to find. It was great to walk into Lyndhurst or out onto the New Forest heath.

The stairs were very narrow, and the carpet needs redoing/ changing . If you're walking out at night, it's safer to take a torch for the first bit..

Had a lovely couple of days in a lovely hotel, in a great location.

Great staff, lovely room. Breakfast was good. Fantastic location walking distance into town and so central in the New Forest. Really good value for money I thought.

Entrance a bit dated. Looked like the room had a bit of a refresh but the entrance and stairs should be on the list to upgrade. I enjoyed breakfast but my wife is vegetarian and prefers fruit/yoghurt/cereal. We were happy with the breakfast but could be improved with the addition of a selection table of the mentioned items. Be happy to pay an extra 10 for it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful , we got there a little early but was able to get to our room , we was asked if we needed help with our bags etc , breakfast was lovely in the morning , comfy bed , the hotel was situated in an excellent location close to everything .

Lovely weekend escape

Very friendly and flexible staff, good cooked breakfast and comfortable, spacious room. We travelled with two dogs (spaniels) and was plenty of space for all of us without feeling clustered. Convenient location just outside Lyndhurst, free parking. The weather was horrible around check out time and let us stayed for a bit longer FOC.

We were expecting a large hot tub in the bathroom, but it was a normal size hydro massage bathtub. Still modern, clean and enjoyable, but the hot tub offer was the main reason we chose this place. It didn't spoilt our stay, but it would have been nice.
