Overall the stay was great.

Did not eat breakfast.

Did not like the ideal you can see the person in the shower silouett as they shower. You bathroom time is your private time. The room would be great for couples. The room size was too small gfir three people.

Location was awesome, room was beautiful and the staff was amazing.

Intimate setting, quiet and location. Bar had nice selection as well as cultivated food selections.

My only complaint- there is a night train so as a light sleeper it woke me up every night. My room just happened to be on that side of the building.

Beautiful hotel in a great location

Excellent location Beautiful heritage design, rooms were fantastic In terms of price and proximity to the French quarter its amazing. Still quiet enough that you can actually sleep. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The shower pressure is always a pet peeve of mine in a hotel and an early morning shower was fine but daytime or evening and it was pretty average which was annoying but by no means a deal breaker.

Would definitely recommend and I'd stay here again.

The location was fantastic. Close enough to the French Quarter for easy walking but far enough to not hear any partying at night. The building is historic and freshly remodeled into the hotel and it's so clean and well taken care of. The front desk staff and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful. Really loved this place and would definitely stay here again if we return to New Orleans. The cookies at 3pm were delicious and the rooftop terrace was a lovely place to sit for fresh air.

Through no fault of the hotel, there is a train that passed by nightly, sometimes more than once a night, and blew its horn several times while doing so (like 10-20 times). Apparently the is less noticeable on the 'other' side of the hotel and I guess we were on the 'wrong' side so we heard it very clearly. We were in room 305 so i guess ask for a room on the 'non train' side of the hotel and that may help. Bring earplugs. Oh, and this is not a negative for me but you should know that the bathroom is not very private. It has a sliding barn door style that doesn't provide any privacy. It also has a shower that is frosted glass on 3 sides so you can see shapes through the glass from the bedroom. Not an issue if you are traveling with a partner but could be awkward if traveling with someone you need privacy from.
