Great value, central, trendy and clean

Location was a five minute walk from Jalan Alor and all the food outlets there and close to many bars. Room was very clean. No fridge, but a number of mini fridges were available at no cost from reception. Bathroom and shower were well lit and well designed. Beds were comfortable. Large windows had blackout curtains to help a good night's sleep. Roof terrace and pool were a pleasant way to relax. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I was aware of the "damage deposit" to be paid at check in, so brought 30 to avoid being left with unwanted ringgits after I checked out to go to airport . However, I have never had to pay this at any other 4 star hotel anywhere in the world so question why they feel the need to do this.

DO NOT travel to this hotel if you are traveling with kids or you are a women only group! My friend accidently stained the hotel bed sheet and when she reported that stain to hotel, they charge almost RM 160 for it! saying that any stain comes under the 'damage' definition. Now note that cost of one night stay was already RM 550++! Also no females at the front desk / house cleaning or for security! Just creepy eyes everywhere! No sanitary kits in washroom! No iron stand in the room! This hotel certainly has less stars than the one's they market! We will never book this place again..

Great location

The location was within distance to many food halls, bars and shopping. The gym was equipped and pool area relaxing.

The 'breakfast' wasn't really breakfast but a small pastry and coffee. My shower tiles were dirty and I had a few dark hairs in my bed. Kettle in the room but not coffee or tea to bother using it. I was advised the area was full of street walkers to which I made sure I wasn't out much at night.

My favourite place to stay when visiting KL

Over the past four years, I've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel multiple times, exploring each of their room types during my visits to KL. Its proximity to Pavilion mall (a mere 5-minute walk) and Bukit Bintang is a notable convenience. However, what truly sets this establishment apart is its remarkable rooms. Having experienced various hotels in KL over these years, none rival the boutique-style ambiance that MOV offers. Their rooms boast an unparalleled design aesthetic that exudes a unique charma feature I've yet to find elsewhere in the city. What's more, considering the quality they deliver, their pricing remains impressively reasonable. The comfort of their beds and the excellence of their bath and shower facilities consistently meet my expectations. Though I'm tempted to keep this gem to myself, my loyalty after numerous stays compels me to share this glowing review. MOV Hotel's distinctive rooms, coupled with its affordability, make it a standout choice for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur."
