Very unforgettable

The hotel is located on a hill next to the lake. It is a good place to enjoy the panoramic view of Kandy. There are many hotels and taverns nearby. The location of the B&B is very good and there are many monkeys outside. The landlord is very nice. He has a restaurant on the road below. The food is cheap and delicious. Highly recommended!

The owner was very very kind

There was a monkey trying to open the window. It was raining and a lot of water come inside. There were cockroaches. The wifi does not work

Great place to stay in Kandy

Clean, comfortable and nice view

Curtains could be thicker to allow sun blocking in the morning. Gate downstairs is a bit confusing for first arrival. Toilet water pistol leaking.

value for money

balcony, hot shower, comfortable bed, location close to view point.

although the location is good I personally felt it wasnt safe to walk from the property to the city center, its a zig-zag / serpentine road, must be careful for the vehicles but its very easy to get a TukTuk so it was not a problem at all.

it was a terrible experience..

The view from the terrace was the only great thing

Located far from the center on a very steep hill, around 10-15 min by taxi. Very hard to be found, as there are no any signs. The adress was wrong and we had to speak with 3-4 people to finally find it and then climb the steep hill for another 6-7 min. to reach the location. As for the building - its a disaster. Looked like an abandoned non finished house with only 2 rooms somehow ready and all the other part of the building under construction. It felt a bit scary. Entering the room youre welcomed with mold and stains all over the walls. Dust all over the room. Not working fan. Very very different than the photos in Booking - like they were photoshopped or theyre too old. But the worst were the stained bed sheets and blanket which seemed they have not been changed for a long time. When we asked the host to change them, she brought only a new blanket, which had stains on it too. And the sheet remained the same disgusting. We were told to not open the terrace door because of the monkeys jumping around and on the aluminium rooftop - sounded horrible. When we arrived we felt like the money holders only she has been constantly asking us when were going to pay. I gave her the money. She didnt even ask me for my passport or something. The host left 10 minutes after and soon later we were gone too from the place, as we thought its definitely not worth it We just payed money and when we asked for a refund we didnt even had a reply message
