Made reservations upon recommendation of daughter who stayed here before. It was an excellent choice
The room was clean and the bathroom was a decent size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking space. Location was excellent.
Would have been nice to have a small TV with Roku in the room vs. the tablet. A Keurig coffee brewer and a toaster would have been handy. Offer bagels, toast and muffins in addition to current selections.

Lovely inn within a walk to most of Newport attractions. Great parking.
We expected the small room as we planned to only sleep/shower/change in it. Other rooms are larger and lovely! The innkeeper early on warned us of "steps up to the private bathroom" and this turned out to be a 12 step spiral staircase. We were OK with this and should have looked at the available room pictures. Just a caution for others.

Very nice midweek stay in Newport.
Check in was very easy, someone was on duty and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were well appointed and I appreciated the blackout curtains and the extension cords strategically placed for use on both sides of the bed. There were some complimentary beverages, coffee, tea/hot water, milk and a pitcher of water in the refrigerator. There were also some candy dispensers with jelly beans/ gummy type candies. The location was great, easy walk to everything and the ample parking in the back was convenient. The staff was helpful in giving recommendations and there was a prepared list in the room.
The mattress was a little soft but we like very firm mattresses. An extra blanket or throw in the room would have been nice, but the mini split provided adequate heat.

Our stay was peaceful.
We loved the safe, quiet and lovely area. I admired the cleanliness. White linen bedding and white bathroom accessories .
No breakfast included, not even a continental one to start your day. I was thrown back that a guest would need to pay for a croissant, a granola bar, water, and anything else that was put out on the shelf, leading the gas to believe help themselves. Lack of a television in your room. Although an iPad was provided, it was dead upon arrival. We were also unable to sign in to use it. We have our own Netflix account so thats what we use but we had to make sure that we signed out properly so the next guest wouldnt use our subscription. Lack of privacy in the bathroom with the type of doors that are hung. . Nice location in Newport. The home is well kept, clean and comfortable.
We loved that we could walk to town. The home is beautifully decorated and clean.
Charge a little more and throw in the packaged oatmeal & sweet rolls. Feels like nickel and diming.

We really enjoyed the location of the property, it is very charming!
The location is absolutely perfect! We enjoyed having our own little bungalow out in the back. The common area is charming.
There was a very strong, musty, smell in the back unit.
