Overall, our stay was great!! We will be returning next year!!

We really like that we can walk to the Gallivan Center to ice skate. We also liked that our rooms looked down onto the rink! We also really liked room service! The food was great and they were on time and very polite!

We were not informed at check-in that the hot tub wasnt available. After ice skating we all got ready and walked down to find a sign stating it was unavailable. Major disappointment!

Mostly wonderful.

Clean, comfortable, modernized, wonderful staff, parking, and walkable to downtown events. There were loud rowdy guests on our floor. Many guests complained and the management responded quickly to return the floor to calm order and peaceful slumber.

The pool is ice cold, the hot tub had so much chlorine that your eyes watered. On thing I always enjoyed about this hotel was the pool, hot tub, and exercise area. This year the area was miserable and we were unable to do an actively our family had been looking forward to doing. We try to stay here every year, but may not after finding the pool area poorly maintained.

Very good

Good trip, not sure it was worth so much, but I enjoyed myself.

Right downtown near all the things we wanted to do

The little drawer fridge in room 536 made a squealing noise when the motor turned on and there was crusty white stuff on the inside of the bathroom door. The bed frame in 537 was loose and made a banging noise if we sat down or moved on it.

Centrally located hotel

Overall good experience, however, in our opinion, the hotel has a bit of an outdated appearance, in particular compared to other hotels in the neighborhood.

Terrible - would never stay at another Marriott again

The location is great, rooms are clean and spacious and the facilities are as described.

Terrible experience with the staff- at check in I was told they couldnt find my booking despite be showing them a written confirmation, payment receipt for the payment in advance and my passport. There was no attempt to help me at all - just sorry we dont have a booking for you. Imagine how stressed I was after flying for 11 hours to be told there is no booking for me. I called the Marriott help desk and they couldnt find it either. In the end I had to call bookinga help desk (international phone charges applied) for them to sort it out. The Booking Help staff did sort it out but it took about 30mins of waiting on the phone and then the Marriott staff did find my booking all of a sudden. There was no apology, just you received the wrong confirmation number and thats why they couldnt find it. Then at check out they tried to charge me $200 extra as room charges, city tax and something else. Again I had to sort that out with them and I have to wait for a refund as my card was already charged but it took time and effort. I dont know whether booking and Marriott cant work together or if their systems dont match but beware if booking this hotel through booking.com
