suggestive experience. fantastic location. great hotel! absolutely recommended if you are looking for a special stay in oxford. team is just great! rooms are very nice, super clean.

we could not have dinner at the hotel as fully booked. pity!

Superb

Unique and comfortable hotel, would recommend.

Great location, super unique hotel, our room was very comfy, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, we had everything we needed upon arrival!

The attachment on the tub to its shower head leaks like crazy which I didnt realize until I saw the floor getting soaked from the back. Its where it connects under the knob. Upon wiping up all the water the whole back wall of the tub has a line of mold at the baseboard to the tile (probably from this same issue). The shower did not get hot at all. Warm if anything. We were also told the car parking was staffed 24/7 but upon trying to check out this morning, that was not true. We were blocked in and this resulted in us leaving later than planned.

Disappointing

For a malmaison I felt it was very underwhelming and definitely not worth the price paid!

The building was really lovely & the food in the restaurant was very nice. The guy running the restaurant on New Years Day was super friendly and very efficient. He was Bulgarian. Maybe he could train the rest of the staff to be more like him!

The reception area was very dark & unwelcoming. The lifts were very tired. The staff on reception werent particularly friendly or welcoming. Just very robotic going through the motions of getting credit card details etc with very little interaction. The bar was very disappointing. The barman with the pink hair wasnt very friendly. Twice we tried to order espresso martinis and both times we were told the coffee machine was closed down for the night. Never had this happen before in a hotel bar thats still open and serving. The shower was a disaster. The water just kept going from hot to cold to hot to cold! Considering the price we paid per night you would expect a perfect shower!

Building and room were great. Reception was good. food excellent. Cocktails good, Location excellent

Parking was a little expensive. Room was great but a little on the cool side. Service in the restaurant was a bit disjointed due to lack of staff

Very good

Perfect little break for my wifes birthday.

This hotel is one of our favourites. Staff can not do enough for you. Clean rooms, spacious, has everything you need.

We could not seem to get the heating to work in our room.

Superb

The hotel was amazing, so quirky. Location was very good. The facilities in the hotel room were very good. A very comfortable bed. A superb experience.

The only problem was our room smelt of sewage, when you walked in. Not sure if this because of its location to the river and it was raining. The smell did eventually go.
