First class service. Beautiful location and building and surrounds. Food good and good variety (especially library bar menu). Spa and pool lovely.
Some of gym cardio equipment out of order (treadmill and 2 cross trainers), which was a shame when gym a little busier.

we have been visiting the Hotel for many years and we always enjoy our stay with you . Comfort and facilities are excellent
There was nothing we didn't like. Recommend better communication between staff. Stopped off at Davis's in Drumcliff on the way back to Dublin. V impressed with their very streamed lined efficiency

would we recommend the castle to friends, who are wanting to stay 'in a castle', no.
the size of the room, good and comfortable. the entertainment/ singer, in the bar, was very good. the outside of the castle/hotel was very impressive, and at night, looked beautiful.
re breakfast, comparing to other castles/ hotels we stayed in, of which your 'hotel' cost more, the breakfast was infact poorly displayed, and and choice thereof. Re the 'castle itself', we found it not to be a castle, but a hotel. The outside certainly did look like a castle, but once through the door, we felt like we were in a hotel, and not a castle. Christmas decor... a christmas tree IN THE BAR, would have been a nice touch to Christmas,....

The staff were very attentive throughout our stay and the room was first class. We spent two nights in total and made use of the pool and thermal suite on a number of occassions. The breakfast and dinner were tasty and plentiful. We would happily return again in the future.

Really beautiful- very friendly staff .
Stunning scenery, beautiful building, great staff
unfortunately I was unwell for a day or so and had to stay in bed which was fine ( we stayed in the garden suite) I strongly suggest a member of staff lays on the bed in any position they wish and can get a full view of the tv in the bedroom part as it is obscured by the four poster bed!there would be room to place the tv in the middle between the two windows or put a moving bracket so you could adjust the tv . sounds like a silly thing to moan about but at a 5 star expensive hotel I cant believe no one hasnt mentioned this before !
