Exceptional

Susie is one a major reasons we would return to this hotel

The location is perfect. The rooms were large and spacious well cleaned well-maintained Susie was spectacular. She was doing what appeared to be multiple jobs, but was so warm and welcoming, suggesting places that were still open due to the off-season made sure that all of our needs were met personally begged muffins. That were delicious. She is an absolute star, and a major reason we would come back to this hotel.

Staff was lovely and knowledgeable. easy to walk to restaurants in Bar Harbor and drive to trails in Acadia National Park.

Central place in Bar Harbor, but simple amenities , both in room and in the lobby are missing.

It was very central and clean.

To hang the jackets or coats, there was nothing in the room. There was no table in the room to write or eat or drink a coffee. Similarly, even though there was complimentary breakfast in the lobby, there was no place to sit or eat.

Great hotel in a quiet location

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The room was super cute, looked like a bedroom in a house more than a hotel room. Lots of light, comfy beds and spotless. The front desk was very helpful, Paula gave us some great recommendations (even tho her foot was in a cast!) for hikes in the area. She was very kind and friendly! The hotel was pretty quiet as well, some road noise but nothing out of the ordinary. Im a light sleeper and I didnt have any issues. The breakfast was a grab and go style with excellent muffins. The area was great as well, an easy 5-10 min walk to the downtown area. Eat at Galyns! Weve eaten there both times we visited Bar Harbour and imo its the best restaurant in the downtown area.
