Very bad, dont understand the reviews!

Absolutely nothing

This place is a complete letdown, especially when you read the reviews which i simply dont understand! Firstly, the room is of old finishing, completely different to the pictures. The place is also dirty - the mosquito net that surrounds the bed had dead mosquitoes on it and blood stains!!! It was absolutely disgusting!! The entire room was filled with mosquitoes, we had been in sri lanka for 10 days prior and never experienced this. I spent the entire time killing mosquitoes before deciding to leave after only one night out of three booked. You can hear everything from the outside, we literally were woken up by a huge family in the adjacent villas and screaming kids. Water pressure is weak, the shower stopped working in the middle of my shower, no hot water when we tried showering on three different occasions. Toilet seats are moldy, the entire bathroom is filled with other bugs. The bed is so uncomfortable as are the pillows.

Excellent nice and relaxing just what we needed.

We was given a very friendly welcome. Shown round the villa which was set in beautiful surroundings. The villa was immaculately clean and well presented. It had everything we needed for our stay. We had fresh sheets and towels everyday. The villa was cleaned the day. Lovely friendly staff. Couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest places weve ever been to.

Very nice place for short or long stay

Very friendly and helpful owner. Very comfortable bed/matress and the best shower ever (open with moskito net). Calm nice garden. I did an Ayurveda treatment 4 minutes away by foot. I recommend highly.

Highly recommended

Amazing place, very quiet, stylish, very well done. There are 3 villas for guests, but they are all located so that guests do not interfere with each other and feel very alone. A very friendly host Dillon. A pleasant assistant who cooked breakfast every day and cleaned the room. Dillon allowed us to use the owner's kitchen and we prepared dinner ourselves every day, what saved the budget significantly. Villa is 5 minutes from the beach. The place is located in a quiet area, the railway is almost inaudible - trains run very rarely. A very beautiful garden, made with love, with statue of Buddha and flowers. If you are planning to stay at this area this place is definitely the best.

fabulous stay with amazing experience, thankyou

amazing location with great support staff. The experience was amazing and the people made us like home.. even arranged a tuk tuk for us and authentic Srilankan breakfast. Have travelled a lot but this will remain my favourite property. i certainly will come back soon.

This property is beautiful and the host is very helpful. Breakfast was great and the location was very close to the beach. I highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.

best choice to stay near Bentota

this is the best shower I got during my month in Sri Lanka. also, it is the best deal in terms of comfort and price. I really enjoyed staying here. highly recommend

Perfect choice

There is nothing you can fail about this location! Everything was perfect. The villa is spacious, very clean and you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is large and mattress and sheets are high quality ( highly appreciated as we slept pretty well ). The service from the host and the staff was impeccable - the host helped us change money and fulfilled all our needs. Tuk tuk driver is friendly and we even made an excursion with him to the Brief garden which is a gem for nature/garden design lovers. The always smiling lady from the kitchen was always ready to help and did a very good job at cleaning the villa. Induruwa beach was what we were looking for in Sri Lanka (a quiet and not so touristy beach, without beachboys etc but a scenic one full with specific palm trees). We also visited Bentota beach but we did not like it so much as we did with the Induruwa which is 2-3 minutes walk from the villa. On the Induruwa you will find some good restaurants (some also have sunbeds free of charge if you consume something from them) - as restaurants we liked Janus, Induruwa beach club and Lahini (new, not finished yet and not so nice when it comes to design but I had there the best fish I ever ate in my life). We would stay again at Dillan at Lenora Villas. Maybe next time we will come by train to Colombo as the train station is just 2 minutes away.
