Poor

I will not stay here again.

I was familiar with the area but that may be the only positive.

I did not like being told I could show up at 12 for complimentary check in and the room was not ready until 4:10 pm. There was no help to unload or load our luggage. Walked to and from the valet parking lot several times to get all of our luggage.

Disappointing

Poor communication from staff. Waited 2.5 hours for check in after check in time. Was told after waiting 2.5 hours and checking on rooms 3 times that wait was for a handicap room. However, we did not want a handicap room. No communication as if staff did not care.

At first sight, it is a nice hotel. The first issue was that no one could drive my husband's stick-shift car. while i stood in the lobby watching one staff member hold another by his clothing up aginst the wall play fighting. My husband was watching someone practice driving his car into the parking lot who had ( NEVER ) driven a stick-shift car before. The ladies at the front desk were very professional and spoke kindly. The rest of the stay was good. There were not any complaints other than i was charged the total price for parking, although my husband had to park his car for the rest of the trip. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly during the rest of our stay. The first impression was discomforting, but it improved after the first night. The car situation would be the main reason we would never stay there again. I wish a staff of all-black employees would have given a better first impression. I expect better from us.
