Very good

Stay between Xmas & New Year 2023

The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast food was very tasty. The furnishings were lovely

Scaffolding on the front of the hotel spoilt our seaview, but we were sent an email about this from the hotel prior and giving us the option to rebook or refund. We just didn't realise the extent to which the view would be ruined. The drinks and toast were self serve at breakfast which was a little chaotic when there was a queue of people, no side plates or cups because they had ran out and the staff had not had time to replace. The cooked breakfast was served at the table and was tasty and good quality.

Exceptional

Excellent

The staff was extremely good and very professional the rooms were warm and very comfortable I had a cooked breakfast everyday and couldnt fault it and there was plenty of things fruit yogurts etc to choose from overall I would and have already recommend it to other people and family the staff was always at hand if I needed them for anything and helped me with things I didnt understand I will deffo be coming back thank you very much everyone that is to do with the hotel S Demaine

Disappointing

Doesnt feel like a luxury 4 star anymore.

The location is perfect!

Not up to the standards it used to be breakfast was not as relaxed having to make your own toast and tea /coffee .It claims to be a luxury 4 star hotel ,which it was before it was taken over but at the moment it would be pushing for 3 stars. The room particularly the bathroom was shoddy, no little extras like tissues, cotton wool balls biscuits bottled water that this hotel used to have when we visited before it just felt like they were probably trying to find their feet I really hope it gets back to being how it used to be.

Very good

Lovely little hotel right by beach

Great location, right on the beach front. The breakfast was really good and staff were friendly and attentive.

The toilet seat was broken (room 6) and radiator was too hot without a way to turn it down (that we could see).

Everything you expect a hotel to be, clean, tidy, good service.

Clean, Tidy, breakfast was good and hotel room was sea view / promenade position.

The room was very hot with the heating on late, towards midnight and on again early morning and unable to turn radiator off. Probably winter settings but not needed for us with the weather being so mild. We opened the window but some people might not like that with the temporary scaffolding up.

Very good

Good location and breakfast.

The breakfast was excellent. Location fantastic close to all the action. Friendly staff.

We didn't have the best room, it was located at the back of the building and had a fire escape door and small window so felt quite dingy. Would definitely book a front facing if we returned but unfortunately they were all booked at the time we arranged..
