Nice charming hotel in Stone Town

The location is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's close to local attractions, including restaurants, bars, and the beach is a short distance. The room was comfortable and well maintained, although the building wasn't modern.

There is no swimming pool.

The location and building architecture style.

We booked 2 rooms, one for our children (6 and 8 y-old), and it was a bit far off, and on a different floor.

A quaint hotel in Stonetown situated near the Ferry Port

Frank Tiba, the resident manager, and his supporting staff were awesome A very warm welcome on arrival with a refreshing Hibiscus drink and cool towel Wish I could have stayed a day or 2 longer..

Ala carte breakfast was confusing and dinner pricey, so I had to look elsewhere to eat

Comfortable stay within a perfect location

Kisiwa House is a small historic hotel, that is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of food with rooftop views. It's in the ideal location to tour around Stonetown.

Pleasant Stat

The friendliness of the staff made us feel comfortable and well accommodated. The room was spacious and well decorated.

There was a lack of enough water provided in the rooms to make hot drinks / keep refreshed. We received two small bottles which were recommended to use for brushing teeth.

Luxury entangled with history. Very well done interiors and the photos dont lie. Decent breakfast.

No lift so you rather travel light - difficult to carry your luggage upstairs. Views of the beach are faint.

We really enjoyed our night at Kisiwa House ! The hotel is well located in the town and well decorated. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness! The staff was friendly and very helpful. We booked stone town walking tour, prison island and Nakupenda beach with their guide and everything was perfect ! The room was spacious, quiet, clean and very comfy !! We had our breakfast and dinner at the terrace, the food was really good and the view is beautiful. We highly recommand it !!
