KC Grande Resort Koh Chang

This was my email to the hotel management after checking out 4 nights before we were supposed to: Hello, I would like to send you some feedback about our family stay at your hotel. I booked 6 nights through booking.com and after 8 nights in Koh Kood we arrived on the 28 of December. My first impressions were that the advertised deluxe beachfront villa is obviously a lie as there is zero privacy and in none if your pictures you show that its one bungalow split in 2 and you share a balcony with the next room. Even if they snore at night we can listen to it from the room. Your stuff is polite but have zero character. The whole idea of Thai hospitality is the smile and the sawadee. We didnt hear this word from any of your employees or gotten any form of smiles and warmth. After 2 extremely disappointing nights we requested for early check out knowing fully well that there is no refund. We then booked again our hotel in koh kood and returned. So imagine how bad our experience was to wanna pay twice for the same days. What shocked me was the when i told your front office that we are leaving early and not staying the rest 4 of the already paid 4 nights their only concern was to tell me that its not refundable which i didnt even requested. Four employees there did not even ask why are you leaving us?, is there something wrong? Anything we can do to help?. None or that. Truly disgusting if you ask me. You give the feeling that you see your guests a dollar sign and nothing more. Now i know you dont care about this and nothing will change but i wanted to let you know how many of your guests probably feel. The breakfast was good and thats about it. This review will ofcourse be on booking.com and other platforms in an attempt to help future travelers and maybe motivate you to see your guests a bit more as people and a bit less than just profit

The hotel, almost fully booked, necessitated a room change, but this turned into a unique opportunity to experience three different room types. Surprisingly, the hillside rooms emerged as the standout (rooms in main building are quite old), even surpassing those with a view of the main street. Importantly, noise was not an issue, enhancing the overall stay. Throughout these changes, the staff exhibited remarkable professionalism and assisted us seamlessly in finding the most suitable room. Their flexibility and commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction were evident, especially during a busy period. The captivating beach, inviting pools, and attentive staff, coupled with breathtaking views during breakfast and rooftop pool sunsets, contributed to an exceptional holiday ambiance. Conveniently located facilities such as 7/11, laundry service, bike rental, and excellent restaurants added to the overall convenience. We appreciate the hotel's dedication to delivering a positive experience, even amid room changes due to high occupancy. Highly recommended for a delightful and diverse stay.
