The Hyatt Place Salt Lake City Downtown / The Gateway has a great location near the mall and Delta Center. The staff are friendly and accommodating, providing exceptional service. The rooms are clean (Read More) and comfortable but slightly dated. The breakfast is decent. Some reviewers appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms and the safety of the complex. However, there are mixed feelings about receptionists and the limited parking spots. Access to internet subscriptions and connecting personal devices to the TV can be challenging. Overall, it is considered a good hotel for the price and convenient for events.

We didn't like the smell of the pillows they had on old smell, but with a little spray of perfume the problem was taken care of.

An excellent, decent, comfy and good value for money hotel. Will come back again in future.

Excellent, comfy and spacious room including a very decent breakfast. Great location near Town Center. Free carpark is a big plus.

Lack of on site restaurants, food and F&B outlets.

Would stay there again

Comfortable and relaxed hotel, well-sized rooms, comfortable bed, nice pool, sufficient parking on the property, breakfast was good, staff is very friendly.

You can see here and there that the hotel has been in business a while. Furniture looks like it could use a refurbishment. But its a minor detail in the overall great experience we had.
