The Hotel Hospes Maricel y Spa was the perfect choice for a 60th birthday celebration. The staff were accommodating and the hotel was stunning with unbeatable views. However, the on-site dining was p (Read More)ricey and the spa had some issues. The breakfast was better than expected, with great service. The hotel had a special atmosphere and the restaurant was highly recommended. Overall, it was a very nice hotel for a romantic stay.

The rooms were small with a strange configuration which was a bit messy and the pool is a waste of time in the winter.

This hotel relies on its beautiful location and dedicated staff, however there are many reasons why I would choose something else. The dining/breakfast area as well as the pool are on the ocean which is fantastic, the dinner however is not fantastic. It being a five star Hotel I suppose you pay five star prices, the food however is not five stars, its bland and unimaginative. There are some fantastic restaurants in Palma or nearby . Lastly, the main building of the hotel is a beautiful old building with some charm, however the new Natura buildings feel like a corporate event center or something, cold and lifeless. BEWARE that the Natura rooms with the infinity pool (which is knee high by the way) advertised with pictures overlooking the sea actually look out onto a main road with the sea in the distance. After arriving and finding out our room was directly on a noisy main road, we looked and chose a new one a few meters further back from the road which was slightly better. We waited then 3 hours for them to make up the room. No one offered us a drink at the bar or something to make us feel comfortable in this time. I would say there are better options for your stay in Mallorca if you are looking for a 5 star experience.

Beautiful hotel with great staff

Location is excellent, right on top of the coast, beautiful views to relax and waste time with a drink of your choice. 20 mins from main airport, and 20 mins from Palma for a opportunity to sight see or shop. Room is beautifully styled, clean and modern. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. Thankyou.

Visited hotel at end of November and shame the plunge pool in the hotel room wasn't heated, so couldn't use it due to cooler weather, but enjoyed the free hotel spa instead.
