Great location, nice hotel

Lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Great location right next to plenty shops and restaurants and beach on door step. Good sized rooms, comfy bed. Refrigerator in rooms which is good for drinks.

Nightmare trying to get a sun lounger around the pool, pool area not big enough for the size of hotel. Also thought the spa was included in the cost of stay until we arrived and it cost to get in, this needs to be made clearer

Stay at the Hotel Cleopatra - you wont regret it !

The property looks beautiful from the outside and the inside looks very impressive with huge chandeliers, a black and white chequered floor and a very elaborate stone staircase. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The location of this hotel cannot be beaten as it is literally on the beach on one side and a decent shopping street full of restaurants on the other side. The Reception staff were very helpful when checking in. The buffet breakfast had a huge choice of hot and cold and lots of seating space. The staff cleared away the plates efficiently so no one had to wait for a table. We didnt use the pool but it looked wonderful. We could take the beach towels down to the beach. The hotel provided slippers and dressing gowns.

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is room service but as the hotel is huge, ordering food/beverages risk arriving luke warm ! When booking I had requested a room with a sea view which we were given, but unfortunately the palm trees block most of the sea view (a first-world problem !). The breakfast area is huge and very echoey so when the pianist played (or sang in the evening) it sounds a bit distorted which is a pity.

Nice hotel, brilliant location, lovely staff

We stayed for one night so we booked the cheapest room available at the time i.e. pool view. If we'd been staying longer I would have booked a sea view. The room was exactly what I expected for the price. Very clean. The breakfast was good - the scrambled egg was above average for a hotel and there was a very good choice of food. The location was excellent for the area - facing the sea and steps from the beach. The few staff I spoke to were very friendly, polite and helpful. The only downside was the room we stayed in faced the street and was very noisy - music blaring until after 4am. However the hotel is huge and the receptionist said it is possible to book a quieter room. The pool looked nice. I only saw one person swim in it - it was December after all.

Hotel at fantastic location and extremely nice staff

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a very nice welcome. The hotel has a very elegant design in the style of antiquity. The location of the hotel is perfect, right between the white sandy beach and the main shopping mile. It offers many rooms with fantastic sea views. We also really enjoyed the breakfast.

There was no kettle or coffee machine in the room. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom and the soap was really not good. The rooms are noticeably outdated, with partly scratched old furniture and door handles and an outdated small TV.

Great!

Loved everything! Champagne offered on arrival. Allowed us to check in very early as the rooms were ready. Little gift box in the rooms for the children. So close to the loveliest beach, children were on it straight after breakfast. Breakfast was fab. We had the best time.

We have one child who is coeliac, would suggest more GF options.
