Disappointing

Great location, but the room was super hot and not very clean.

The location was very good, and despite being next to one of the most busy areas of the city, we didn't hear a sound during the night.

The room was super hot, without being able to regulate the temperature! We had to open the window (it was ~3 outside), since it was the only way to cool the room... Also, the AC on the room was very dirty, with the warning to clean the filters on, full of dust, we didn't even want to turn that on. We were expecting a bigger room, it nearly only fitted the bed and not much more.

Its a good choice for one or two nights, with lovely decor but needs renovating in places.

Great location, few minutes walk to the train station. Breakfast options were good (hot and cold). Gluten free bread, crackers and biscuits were provided upon request. The room was nicely decorated, clean and located at the back with big windows to let fresh air in. Friendly hotel staff.

No warm duvets, only sheets to use and additional wool blankets placed in the wardrobe, which looked a bit old. The room smelled very musty and had no tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel staff was unable to provide hot water in the evening for a cup of tea.

Excellent location and great breakfast

The location is excellent and that was also the main reason we chose this hotel. Breakfast was also great, with good and many options. The only thing I missed were the fresh vegetables (cucumber, tomato...) But I guess it is not easy to get those on a large scale, given that they are on an island. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We actually had to change our room, as the one that we initially got was very cold and super humid. Apparently there was a problem with a window, that was not closing properly, so the heating was not efficient. The lady at the reception was really helpful and fixed another room for us, even though they were fully booked. In general, the rooms were nice, but they definitely had some things that could be much better (air condition machines, carpet).

The first room was a kind of nightmare as we could not sleep the whole night due to the cold and humidity in the room. The "air condition" machine looked really scary. The carpets, in both the first room and the second room looked really old and had a lot of stains on them. In our second room, the bathroom was quite small. The heater in the bathroom never worked, either in the first room or the second room that we got. The wi-fi is very bad.

Not good but not bad! A little costly according to the service!

Right next to the Venezia Saint Lucia Station- 4-5 mins walk. Lots of restaurants nearby. Also the ferry point was just in front. So a great location. Breakfast was good as well.

No early checkin was possible. So I had to keep my luggage- which was again at a very open place and didn't feel safe. We were asked to keep the luggage just below the stairs where there was empty space. The room I was allotted always had this sound of water flowing through the pipes- don't know if it was just a problem with my room or what! Wifi was also not that great in my room. I felt I paid too much just for 1 night for a single room and didn't get the service or amenities worth it.

Poor

The lady at the front desk was rude. She must of had a bad day. She also got upset about our toddler sleeping with us. Insisted on charging extra for the child and added breakfast for child and he doesnt even eat breakfast. Always make sure you add children to your reservation even if they dont need a bed. European stipulations are different. The room was musty the windows had to be opened to get fresh air.
