Charming stay in wonderful part of Venice - I just love this city so much and discovering this hotel and bar has given m

I chose this hotel because of its fantastic location, close proximity to where the Airport boat has a stop (Alilaguna orange line) and also because it had a bar attached to it as this then gave me the option if the need arose to go the bar with my friends who would walk me back to the hotel (as lived nearby where I would normally stay, but this particular trip I was sadly going for a funeral so it was not convenient to stay there) and then just go straight up to bed! The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly in the hotel and in the bar. I have forgotten the name unfortunately of the chap who brought my luggage to my room (?Nicola), but he was lovely and kind! It was a charming hotel, the entrance beautiful and I had a wonderful view of the square from my room with a glimpse of Campanile di San Marco (St Marks Campinile clock tower). I was on my own this trip and felt completely safe and comfortable being here. I would definitely stay again or recommend to others. The American Bar attached attracts a young crowd and is very vibrant and my stay was enhanced by joining in there! Only place where people can go to dance later on with some live DJ music - great vibes! Bubu the owner and Ray who works in there were also very welcoming and kind to me. The bar also felt safe to be in which is important for a solo traveller. It also does not stay open too late so does not disturb the hotel guests.

I was in a single occupancy room so had a longish room with two singles. I probably would have preferred a double bed, but when booking did not have that option. However, I still had a great view, bed was very comfortable, shower good pressure bidet, room safe, kettle etc. plus two lots of drinking water provided or can be purchased when run out. I did have to get into a deep bath to use the shower so this may be difficult for people less able than myself.

Great location but quiet considering where it was. Great connection for the boat and airport boat. Lovely bar and nice helpful staff.

We stayed 3 nights and the bar only opened the first day which was a shame.

good location

location is great, Venezian interior of lobby, vaparetto stop 50 m from the hotel. all in all in low season good value for money.

breakfast pretty ok, but cornetto have more industrial taste. room was with modern design, not venezian as we thought while booking.

Very pleasant

I have stayed here before and was excited to return a second time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great.

I was disappointed to find the Giglio stop was closed. That meant that I had to carry my luggage over the Accademia bridge to reach the hotel.

Beautiful hotel close to many attractions

Great location close to San Marco square and vaparetto stop. Hotel is beautifully presented and staff are welcoming and helpful. Buffet breakfast is great and the bar was appreciated in the evening. Close to many fine restaurants including the family restaurant they recommended.

Clean, comfortable centrally located hotel. Would recommend.

Hotel is located 1 minute walk from where you get off the water taxi from the airport. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice and quality was good. Room clean and comfortable. Windows and shutters block any noise from the canals under the window. Great location with 5 minutes walk to St Marks square. Lovely piazzas close by for sitting and having a drink although the hotel lacks a good outside bar space. Stay a couple of nights in venice and the move on the Venice Lido for a couple of nights and enjoy beautiful beaches and much cheaper prices for food etc

Information on how to get from airport to hotel s closest water stop could be a little more expansive. Staff helpful though on arrival. Bar lacking for nightcap as outside seats basic and a little uncomfortable.
