The Holiday Inn Express Carneys Point in New Jersey was a pleasant place to stay for 10 days. It is conveniently located and undergoing construction, which can be noisy until 6pm. The remodeled room (Read More)had a comfortable bed, a spacious walk-in shower, and the breakfast and coffee were always hot and good. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. The only complaints were a lack of hot water for morning showers and the removal of the closet for a refrigerator and coffee maker, which was inconvenient for longer stays.

It is convenient, right off of the New Jersey Turnpike. It is also a pet friendly hotel, which is very important to us as we have a small dog who travels with us. Glad to see that they are doing updates to the property!

Next time on this route we would cross the river and stay in Wilmington.
Location close to the route we were traveling
It was a little pricey and the area offered very little in the way of restaurants.
