The Holiday Inn Baton Rouge-South has received positive reviews for its friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-maintained rooms, and good amenities. Guests found the beds and pillows to be comfor (Read More)table and the bathroom clean and well-maintained. They also felt safe throughout their stay. The location is convenient, close to grocery stores and dining, although some found it to be a little odd. Overall, guests had no problems and would stay at this hotel again. The staff, including Jerry and Fabianne, received special mentions for their welcoming and helpful demeanor. The breakfast buffet was highly praised for its delicious food, including fresh baked croissants and scones. Anthony at the front desk and Miss Fabreanne during breakfast provided excellent service. The hotel exceeded expectations by going above and beyond to cater to guests, such as purchasing pool toys and treating the kids like royalty. The indoor pool was as advertised and a hit with the younger guests. While the rooms and bathrooms were small, they were well-appointed.

The breakfast was not free but rather expensive. I didnt eat because it was too pricy even compared to Cracker Barrel

Fantastic staff.
We had booked this hotel to see an american football match at LSU stadium and on arrival at the hotel we asked how we should travel there as we didnt want to drive into town. The manageress called Janet said we'd be unlikely to get a cab and offered to have one of the staff (a young guy called Dontrelle) drive us in her own car to the game! He also came back and collected us after the game in his car and return us to the hotel!! Outstanding customer service and both should be congratulated.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The staff was nice but its hard communicating with someone who doesnt speak English.
The bathroom is way too small and the pool was closed. The cleanliness of the place could have been better.
