Superb

Quality hotel

Lovely friendly reception, especially Ms Bhatt. Room spotlessly clean and spacious. Fridge, full sized hair dryer. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash and body lotion by Crabtree and Evelyn from multi dispensers. Tea and coffee tray. Nice deep bath and fluffy towels. We had a twin room overlooking the racecourse which was wonderful to watch the dawn break. In the morning went for a walk around the racecourse. We didn't eat here but close to local eateries and supermarket a short drive away. After sure to check parking charges before you leave. We didn't see the signs since we arrived in the dark. Very secure with keys card for lifts and corridors.

The only thing to spoilt our stay were the beds which were quite firm and made it difficult to sleep. The twin rooms have 2 double beds and the linen is good quality. I've seen other posts saying how comfy the beds are, perhaps we had a new bed. Unfortunately mattress toppers are not available to be requested.

Hotel was good, location is excellent

The iron in the room nearly gave me a nasty shock, water was leaking out the electrical input. Luckily I turned it off after smoke was present, I asked for a replacement and it was the same story! Not good!!!

Good location

Location was perfect. Room was fit for purpose and good value for money. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Bed was quite low, and drink options very basic.

Exceptional

Best night away for New Years Eve!

The hotel is modern and clean, the rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are very big and comfortable! We had a room with a view so we got to watch the fireworks display for NYE which was amazing. They let us have a later check out too which was nice of them. All of the staff are friendly, approachable and accommodating. This was our third stay in this hotel and we will continue staying here, we love it.

The breakfast was ok. We've stayed here a few times and thought that the selection of some items had been pared back

The ramps in and out are just awful. Our exhaust back box fell off our car on our way out over three exceptionally high ramps and when I complained I was told that the area manager would call me. I'm still waiting for that call. The room we stayed in was a little shabby and the carpet showing signs of wear. The water wasn't hot enough for a shower although when we told the manager and he tried it he said that it was!
