Staff needs training

The building is beautiful and has great potential. The breakfast was nice, and the waiters were pleasant and attentive.

The location is out of town a ways. The place looked dinghy and lacked upkeep. The shower drain was clogged, and water flooded the bathroom. There was no extra toilet paper. There was no wifi in the room. The front desk staff really need to be trained. They were unfriendly and lacked integrity. Ashish told me my driver could sleep in the staff accommodation, and my driver was told told to find his own accommodation. In the morning, the front desk person told me that they had provided accommodation for my driver but they had not and he had slept in the car. It would have been simpler for them to have responded to my inquiry with a simple no.

Mediocre.

Breakfast was basic.

This "heritage" hotel is 90% rebuilt and maybe 10% original architecture. There was no hot water. Management said to let it run for 15 minutes. We did and it didn't help. In the end we had to request a bucket of hot water and could not even have a shower.

Below average stay; really disappointed.

Only good part about it is its heritage buildup

Staff needs to be trained there was no one at the reception at the time of check out; also for single thing got to call housekeeping thrice. The property very much needs renovation.

Was happy to see a Gujarati Palace

Nice property- needs updating and training of staff . Eg breakfast poorly laid out. :eg fruits in random dishes ( covered in cling film) . Haphazard items in rooms. Eg tea/coffee making facilities ( so nice to see) but put on bedside table. Little things but changes can make a huge difference to such a beautiful home

poor value for money at the price paid and there are better options in Rajkot

good place to stay on the outskirts if u plan to use Rajkot as a base to explore the surrounding places like Gondal or junagadh

the property seems to be aligned to handle and cater to large groups like weddings . they did not seem prepared or geared to handle the retail guest . there was no valet to park the cars - it was self serve and rather inconvenient if you have driven 300 plus kms in a day. breakfast was limited and a la carte . the place is vegetarian and that could be a problem for some . the value at the tariff paid and facilities was terrible . almost a rip off .
