Good value.

Overall it was a good value. We were traveling with a pet and they accommodated him. It really closed to several restaurants.

The layout is a little strange because it is also a conference center. Continental breakfast was a little sparse.

Excellent lodging, however shower is missing a waterproof curtain liner to prevent water from getting outside tub.

It was well kept and well managed.

I didnt like the fact that the shower was missing a waterproof curtain liner that wouldve directed water into the tub. The last time I showered, water accumulated OUTSIDE the tub, wetting the floor. I did what I can to remove as much excess water off the floor. It was somewhat troubling, but I hope thats resolved before more guests experience that.

We love staying at the Hawthorne. It's a great value, great location, and the staff are helpful.

We stay at the Hawthorne every time we are in Winston-Salem. It's a great value, terrific location, and even though it is an older facility, it's very well-maintained with wonderful staff.

Nothing. We've stayed here many times; always great.
