Grand Ion Delemen Hotel

Staff were unfriendly ( Indian girl at the counter was very rude as if she didn't want to be there ) no towels or safe box in the room , ideally at reception they should inform that shuttle service has to be prebooked( no one is going to bother reading notices on the lift when on holiday) we were stranded at the first World theme park when I spoke to the shuttle driver very rudely said to take a cab. Tried calling the hotel after that to ask for help as it was around 9.30pm in the night , phone was obviously placed off the hook as I could get I'm touch for hours!! Finally got a taxi got to the hotel room. Room was old and run down the wind kept blowing through the apartment and the doors kept creaking , felt like we were sleeping in a huanted apartment.

My stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare, earning it a well-deserved one-star review. Here's a breakdown of the dismal experience: Hygiene Horror: The room was disgustingly dirty, with visible stains on chairs, walls, and even the ceilings. The balcony resembled a dumpster, overflowing with trash. I dared not step into the shower due to concerns about cleanliness. Unbearable Conditions: The room was drafty, allowing wind to howl through, making it nearly impossible to sleep. My brother had to use a chair to hold the shaky door. Despite the freezing weather, there was no warm air from the faulty air conditioning. Nightmare Location: The hotel's surroundings were terrible, surrounded by relentless construction noise. The foggy atmosphere robbed us of any potential scenic views. Amenities Fail: The slippers provided were as thin as paper, offering no comfort or warmth. The broken phone and limited air conditioning remotes showcased a lack of attention to basic amenities. The absence of hot water and low water pressure in the shower forced us to seek alternatives. Dining Disaster: The hotel's restaurant was closed, and guests were crammed into a makeshift "restaurant" named Fairy Tales. The food was unappetizing, and trash littered the surroundings, further degrading the dining experience. Count ourselves lucky we didn't opt for breakfast. Navigation Nightmare: The property comprised five buildings, and the poorly designed map made navigation a frustrating challenge. The centralized front desk shared with five other hotels added to the confusion. False Advertising: This establishment falls far short of a five-star rating, more accurately resembling a budget hotel. The pictures and description provided online are a complete scam, misleading unsuspecting guests. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this abysmal excuse for a hotel; it's an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.

There was a musty and sewage smell when one first enters the unit. From past review of other guests, they mentioned it too. So it seems the hotel did not work on the smell. There were a few other things, the hotel falls short of. Breakfast was almost the same every day. Bath towels are not automatically provided, one has to request for them. The waiting for the lift was horrible at peak times for tower 3. At one point, we had to use the stairs to go to level 3 from level 13 (imagine that!). The construction for Ion Majestic is on-going, so our view of the surroundings was particularly obstructed.
