The Grand Hotel Minerva has exceptional service, with friendly and helpful staff. The view from the rooftop is amazing, although drinks are a bit expensive. The hotel is well-maintained, with spaciou (Read More)s rooms and a large bathroom. Breakfast is delicious and the rooftop bar offers superb views. The location is perfect, close to the train station and within walking distance of attractions. The only issues mentioned are the lack of an iron and ironing board, and a missing bar of soap.

Superb

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, great location

Breakfast was ok. Location was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing and very kind and helpful.

The room was warm at night, had to open the window, used sheer curtain for screen. If you take your card out of the power slot, your phones, etc will not charge

Rooms were hot as the heating was turned on during winter - thankfully the staff moved us to a cooler room

The location just cannot be better. The architecture of the square and of the hotel building and finish is sublime.

some small things: absence of mini bar; heating slightly inadequate but in reality cannot venture complaining

Location, the rooftop has amazing views of Florence. Staff was amazing. Made dinner reservations last minute and accommodated me. Forever grateful.

An oasis in the middle of a beautiful city.

The staff was the kindest and most responsive group I have ever encountered. The breakfast, facilities, care and style of the hotel was just magical.

Very good

Great location, clean, tidy and polite staff.

The location was the main draw for the hotel, didnt want to stay in a normal city centre box, even though we usually only sleep in the room, spend the days walking around the city and changing before dining out.

Not sure if this was just us, but we had a massive mosquito problem, between us, around 40 bites, most of them on me. The room has a mosquito repellent but each day the cleaner opened the window to air the room, two very uncomfortable nights after, and several days of creams and tablets.
