Great location but needs some work

Convenient location close to the train station. Within walking distance of all the major sites in Florence. Kind and professional staff. Pet-friendly.

The walls are paper thin and you can hear all of the neighbouring rooms (upstairs, across the hall, etc.). Doors slam easily so there is constant noise in the property. Beds are creaky and need to be checked out. One of our rooms had a heating issue (30+ degrees in the room). Opening the windows just led to mosquitos entering. Finally moved to a different room after 3 nights. The Gym is deplorable and should not be advertised/featured (in a dark, musty basement with an archaic elliptical machine, broken treadmill and a few weights). Breakfast is average, more care needs to be taken in washing dishes.

We love Florence!

What a luxurious stay! From the rooms, the beautiful marble bathroom and the common areas, we had the most wonderful time. The service can not be faulted. Looking out on the square and so close to everything we could want or need.

Lovely location and comfortable hotel.

Excellent location and stylish interior. Staff very polite and efficient. Good large bathroom and shower. Appreciated the complimentary mineral water each day and good air conditioning. We liked the fact you could walk to all the main attractions very easily and the square where the hotel was located had a lovely atmosphere, lively but not at all noisy.

Our superior room on the second floor was comfortable but very dark. Space to hang clothes and put suitcases was limited and the window looked on to an inner courtyard. Breakfast was okay witty lots of choice but not the quality we have had in other hotels in Italy.

Great central hotel, room was fabulous and service was excellent

Room was fabulous, large with a view of the square. Location within walking distance of the train station but also within really easy reach of all the major sites in Florence. Beautiful square outside the hotel to watch the world go by, lots of small restaurants nearby. Reception very helpful with directions, transport arrangements and advice.
