Superb

Perfect stay in a very nice resort!

The resort provided us with a perfect stay. We spent a week there and found the staff to be friendly, enjoyed a very good breakfast, and appreciated the lovely garden and swimming pool. Overall, it was an excellent experience. The location is very convenient, quiet, and within a few minutes' walk, you'll find numerous restaurants.

I'm not a big fan of the plastic shower cabin but that's a personal taste.

Relaxing location just a step away from the fun stuff

Such a relaxing place but also super close to the hustle and bustle of Koh Chang. The staff were excellent without being overwhelming, the huts were perfect and the pool/garden area was great.

The decking was a little loud when people were walking on it, especially when kids were running on it.

Beautiful resort. Tucked away in the nature. Staff was friendly and helpfull. If you need anything you send a WhatsApp and they bring it to you. Good service! breakfast choice was excellent

The villa was super nice only it had unnecessary furnitures in the room ( like 2 big couches and a desk) a wardrobe would have been better. There was rack in the bathroom though but still not much to put your clothes away. and the pool could have more plants on the side..

The hotel itself, swimming pool and breakfast are all good. Bed is comfy. There are many restaurants close by just stepping out of the hotel.

At the first night we were allocated at room 101 which seemed to be fine. But at night, there was a bar opposite the hotel playing quite loud music until late. There is also an animal walking on the roof above the bed. So we requested to change to a new room.

Great choice of accommodation

Staff, swimming pool, location, breakfast. 2 glass bottles of water every day.

No shower beside the adult pool would stop people going in covered in suntan lotion, one English tv channel and intermittent Wi-Fi. No sign at breakfast area advising children not to swim while breakfast being served. These kids came out the pool soaking the tiled floor causing puddles and a potential fall to the older guests and possibly staff! This should not be allowed.

Quiet and adequate, yet needs modernization

The beach is quiet and secluded. The breakfast is excellent. Two pools are OK, and there is no competition for umbrellas or loungers. Individual villas are much more pleasant than some big hotel suites. The staff is helpful and generally pleasant.

Their beach is subpar. A very narrow strip of sand which disappears when the tide is high. However, the high tide is also the best time for swimming. Most time, it is low tide though. We had to struggle getting into water without falling on slippery stones under foot or get scratched by rocks protruding almost to the water surface. 200 meters walking out and still too shallow to swim. On that beach, water shoes is a must. The facilities are rundown. Grey asphalt paths through the property are depressing, a beach hut was probably built 70 years ago and has no curtains, there is no pool bar and the only restaurant would benefit from remodelling. In spite of occasional issues with plumbing, the villas are adequate, but sound proofing is non-existent. You can hear people talking inside when passing by. Two pools are OK yet unimaginative. The "adults only" water reservoir is more like a puddle of dirty water, so I do not count it as the third. This hotel's management could benefit from learning modern ways to manage the property. First time in 30 years I was not given a choice of refund if cancelled in advance. Once booked, you can only change the dates of your visit. I booked 6 months in advance with no flexibility at all. We have accidentally abandoned a small personal item when checking out. The very next day, I requested it to be mailed with us paying postage on delivery. The management said it was not an option for overseas mail and requested a prepayment of 500 THB by a credit card, to which we agreed . However, the hotel then sent me a "pre-authorization" form in place of a regular invoice. I had to include all of my CC information, plus the name, address and the passport number and sign an agreement for the hotel to charge my credit card with no sum indicated anywhere on the form! When I said this was like signing a blank cheque and requested to indicate 500 THB payable, the hotel had denied my request unless I was willing to sign as is.

Beautiful resort (much better than the pictures), very welcoming staff, very nice swimmingpools and great breakfast. The location is also very nice, within few steps you are on a busy road with very nice thai and international restaurants. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

Absolutely loved our stay!

We loved staying here! The property is absolutely gorgeous - the main pool has maybe the best view of any I've ever swam in. It's right on the ocean, which is perfect, and I was obsessed with the swings that hang over the beach. There were lots of places to sit, and everything was so beautiful - we had lunch there one day and it was genuinely the best meal of my holiday! The location is also great - it feels so peaceful on the property, but step outside and you're right in the middle of the main road, with loads of fab food, drink and massage options.

There were lots of options at breakfast but as I don't like eggs or crepes, I think there could have been more of a hot food option. The sunloungers around the pools are also black and synthetic and far too hot for the Thai heat - much preferred the sunloungers around the rest of the property. Definitely minor things in a great stay, though.

A hidden gem!

We had three weeks in paradise at the GajaPuri Resort! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (we will miss you, Sai and Ko), the breakfast was super good, and the beach is a hidden gem. Very comfortable beds, and the rooms are clean. We will recommend this place for everyone who is looking for something a bit more personal than the big resorts. At the GajaPuri you are more than just a room number.
