Despite missing the regular staff, guests enjoyed their stay at Forest Lodge Hotel. The substitute gentleman provided excellent service and the rooms and breakfast were top-notch. The location was pe (Read More)aceful yet close to the seafront and town center. Guests appreciated the attention to detail in the breakfast presentation and the cleanliness of the hotel. They highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Needs maintenance & a bit more cleaning cobwebs in room . damp on mdf board edging above sink paint falling off , 10 minute job to fix ,should not of let the room. Not worth the 153.00 should be ashamed .

Superb

We had a lovely relaxing time in beautiful surroundings

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was excellent and we enjoyed the swimming pool

Friendly and accommodating staff. Pool was delightful for us and the children. Best English breakfast I've had in a while. Drinks prices very reasonable. Will definitely stay again!

Room was very hot, despite turning down the radiator. But not enough to complain about it and forgot to ask.

Very good

All good, apart from not accepting Amex.

All good, the pool was a good size and very refreshing.

Booking.com website shows the hotel accepts Amex, but they actually don't, so this needs to be amended.

Room was a bit small as I travel with family of 4 , Swimming pool very cold As we booked our breakfast table to be ready for us at 9.30 am We finish breakfast nearly at 11am as we with over 40 min for food . For a glasses for juice we asked 3 times and we receive just 2 and we ask for 4 and we receive glasses after 1h of stay . Not much choice of continental breakfast
