The Fairfield Inn Sacramento Cal Expo is located in a non-walkable area and does not have microwaves in the rooms. However, they allow guests to use the hot tub at their sister hotel and offer a budg (Read More)et-friendly stay. Some rooms may be affected by train noise, but the hotel is accommodating and offers rate discounts for inconveniences. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is good but may be understaffed at times. The hotel's exterior has been updated.

Before booking, look into all the charges the hotel has.

Liked the cleanliness and comfort

Didn't like the unexpected $10 for parking, random $1.16 charge, random $70 charge, plus $250 deposit hold that will take 5-7 business days to be returned (not including weekends), on top of paying through the booking.com app. I HAVE STAYED MANY PLACES, BUT THIS FELT UNNECESSARY FOR ONE NIGHT. Will not use this chain again. It was nice and comfy, but whats the point if your worried the whole time they might charge you for something you didn't know about or charge you for using the soap.

Very good

A comfortable, safe, good value place to stay near Cal Expo

Location was perfect. Safe. Close to cal expo. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable.

Decor is a bit dated. No charging ports on bedside lamps. An absolute must these days.

Breakfast was great! Lots of options. Room was clean and slept great!

I was greeted right. Asked if I could have a room close to the front desk, I was accommodated. Checking out was super easy and again, staff then was just as welcoming.

Superb

Great comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to families.

Our room was nice and clean we had a great stay our beds were comfortable . We had a Nice and peaceful stay . Breakfast was awesome there was many breakfast items to chose from.

I noticed that there was pets allowed (dogs) luckily our room was not close to us because someones dog kept barking.

Never will I even consider this place again.

There were 2 front desk people that were nice and a helpful manager. One front desk person was awful

The electrical equipment (HVAC, refrigerator, etc.) LOUD HVAC system. The room was freezing when I came in. The fridge froze my food. The trains didn't allow for sleep! Nothing gluten or dairy free
