Superb

Overall a wonderful location for what we needed

The location of this hotel was perfect to get to and from the airport as well as Porto City Centre and the venue we needed to attend a big event at. We did travel by taxi and the whole trip took around 20 minutes each way. The breakfast was so lovely and the staff was incredible. amazing fish restaurants just on the door step with fresh locally sourced products. The reception was extraordinary with accommodating all our requests and securing us special toiletries and other information we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the room, though a little humid after the showers, very spacious and cosy.

We would have appreciated a quicker responsiveness from the lounge bar, because the drinks were so yummy, however we needed to wait around 20-30 minutes before anyone showed up at the bar and then it took quite long to be served after putting through our order.

Lovely experience with a very helpful stay. I would stay there again.

Breakfast was extensive. The pool was at a good temperature. The room was lovely with a spacious bathroom.

The gym is very small and limited. You can only access the pool from 10 on the weekends, which seems late to me.

Best quality for that price

A place that you would like to come back. The hotel is now super luxury but has everything I needed: - excellent breakfast (even though it was quite the same every day) - a cozy swimming pool and spa - cleaning service - staff - the ocean nearby.

- Toilet brush was missing - Wi-fi was not stable all time

Value for money

The bedroom: did not have a window only a small glass balcony door, with only light from the single balcony door the room was very dark. The hotel was not built thoughtfully or caring about who would stay in that room and probably other rooms the same as it. Reception kindly changed my room to another room which did have a double glass balcony door which gave lots of light. The Bathroom: the shower attachment was too low, as it was the same in the second room it looks like all the rooms are like this. Also the bathroom did not have an extractor fan for the steam. The Gym: did not have any mats, I was told the Management had received this feedback from guests before so why have they not done anything about it? And why do guests need to give this feedback when mats should be in the gym to begin with. It is not a cost issue as on Amazon if you search Gym Mat and sort the price cheapest first then you can find mats for as little as 2 Euros each. It is not a space issue either as some mats roll up or some can hang on the wall.

Needs improvement

Nice hotel, good breakfast, good facilities for the rooms.

Is rated as a 4 stars, but missing some facilities and services to be there. The gym is not equipped. There are no weights and mattresses, so I could not really use it. The stuff could improve on the attitude towards the client, starting with the housekeeping ladies till the reception ones.
